Grade 2 (Gr2) pure titanium plate ,also called Gr2 pure titanium sheet, is the most common grade of commercially pure (CP) titanium. CP titanium is not 100% pure titanium but an α-phase titanium alloy containing small amounts of interstitial elements such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon and iron. The different contents of these trace elements determine its mechanical properties and grades (Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, Gr4). Gr2 achieves an optimal balance between strength and formability.Gr2 is well known for its excellent balance of strength, ductility and weldability.
