Product Description

 

A Titanium alloy coating plate is a substrate plate (base metal) composed of titanium or titanium alloy, which is further treated by a coating or surface-deposition process - for example via physical vapor deposition (PVD), plasma spraying, ion plating, or other advanced coating methods - to provide enhanced surface properties (such as corrosion resistance, wear resistance, decorative finish, anti-oxidation, etc.).


In other words, our product is not just a bare titanium plate, but a titanium alloy base that carries a high-performance coating, combining the mechanical advantages of titanium alloys (light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance) with the functional advantages of a surface coating tailored for the target environment.

Common Grades and Chemical Composition of BT6 Titanium Wrought Alloy Plate:

 

Grade Primary Composition (wt. %) Characteristics
Gr 1 Ti (Balance), O ≤ 0.18, Fe ≤ 0.20, N ≤ 0.03, C ≤ 0.08, H ≤ 0.015 Commercially Pure Titanium. Lowest strength, best ductility, formability, and corrosion resistance.
Gr 2 Ti (Balance), O ≤ 0.25, Fe ≤ 0.30, N ≤ 0.03, C ≤ 0.08, H ≤ 0.015 The most widely used grade of CP Titanium. Excellent balance of strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance.

Gr 5

Ti-6Al-4V

Ti (Balance), Al 5.5-6.75, V 3.5-4.5, Fe ≤ 0.30, O ≤ 0.20, C ≤ 0.08, N ≤ 0.05, H ≤ 0.015 Ti-6Al-4V alloy, an alpha-beta alloy. The most common titanium alloy. High strength-to-weight ratio, good overall performance.
Gr 7 Ti (Balance), O ≤ 0.25, Fe ≤ 0.30, N ≤ 0.03, C ≤ 0.08, H ≤ 0.015, Pd 0.12-0.25 Gr. 2 with added Palladium (Pd). Enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing environments (e.g., HCl, H₂SO₄).
Gr 9 Ti (Balance), Al 2.5-3.5, V 2.0-3.0, Fe ≤ 0.25, O ≤ 0.15, C ≤ 0.08, N ≤ 0.03, H ≤ 0.015 Ti-3Al-2.5V alloy. Strength between Gr. 2 and Gr. 5, with better cold formability.
